THE CHAPEL
Refurbishment and extension of a grade II listed, 19th century chapel divided into two large residential homes. These high end residential projects targeted the ultra high net worth (UHNW) housing market in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). Navigation of the planning and construction stages of this project were complex and required continuing liaison with the planning department.
A contemporary and high end interior comprised of a variety of different living and entertaining spaces such as a sitting room, games room, cinema, private bar and swimming pool.
Given the typology of the chapel, the history of the building is reflected into the interior design. As a refurbishment, designing the interiors from the outside in created a new and unique challenge to enhance the existing skin and make the best use out of the feature openings.
