Situated at the convergence of four distinct conservation areas, our site offers an exciting opportunity to engage with a multitude of diverse characters and architectural expressions. Guided by the London Plan Policy D3, which emphasizes the importance of enhancing local distinctiveness, we have meticulously crafted our proposals to harmoniously respond to the surrounding context.
Conservation Areas – Understanding that every conservation area possesses its own charm and architectural language, we have embarked on a design journey that embraces the essence of each heritage asset while maintaining a cohesive whole. The design team has thoughtfully considered various elements, including height, scale, massing, and overall design, ensuring that our creations blend seamlessly with the appearance and character of the adjacent buildings and surrounding conservation areas.
Heritage Assets – By meticulously studying the neighboring heritage assets and conservation areas, we have gained invaluable insights into their unique features, layout, orientation, street hierarchy, and proportion. Our design approach integrates these considerations to create a harmonious relationship between our proposed development and its context. We aim to contribute positively to the local distinctiveness by thoughtfully responding to the architectural fabric of the area.

Typical roof typologies – Along Hurlingham Road and Edenhurst Avenue, front gables and pitched roofs create a unified language that faces the main road. Our proposal pays homage to this captivating roofscape, seamlessly blending tradition with innovation.
Unique architectural features – We take inspiration from the striking circular brick recesses, sculpted parapet lines, and brickwork arches found in the vicinity. These exceptional details serve as precedents for our commitment to high-quality brick detailing, recesses, and deep window reveals, ensuring a captivating and memorable aesthetic.
